How to remove varnish stains from carpet?

  • Try blot and soak up as much of the spill as possible, then vacuum up any dry mites, hair or other particles.

  • Get ready with preparation necessary cleaning solutions, starting with the first one listed.

  • Before the actual intervention, make sure to test the cleaning solution on a tiny, inconspicuous area of carpet. You want to be certain that the solution doesn’t create any discoloration or harm to the carpet!

  • Spray from the bottle and apply the mixture to a clean cloth, and use it to apply the solution right over the stain. You will need only to cover it, no excess over spraying. For optimum outcome, work from the outside of the stain toward the centre core.

  • Leave the applied mixture on the spill for at least four to five minutes and let the magic happens.

  • Absorb with a clean microfiber cloth until the stain no longer shifts its colour to the cloth. You may try not to rub the stained area, or you might harm the carpet fibres!

  • Start rinsing by using cold water, confirm all excess cleaning mixture is no any longer on the carpet.

  • If the stain appears again and you can see it, try repeating the process few times if necessary or until the moment the stain doesn’t shift its colour to the microfiber cloth.

  • If you find the stain to be stubborn and still persist, follow up with mix of the next solution start with the test again and then step by step until you find is its completely gone or still persist. If the stain is visible after trying both methods, you have another alternative to contact a professional with cheap carpet cleaning prices.

  • If you were lucky and got the stain removed, use a 2-3 ply of layer white paper towels on the affected area to absorb any extra moisture.

  • Next day, when the carpet is completely dry, vacuum clean the area to restore the texture. Try carpet grooming for better appearance.
